David Cook is a Charlottesville-based artist, teacher, and dad of 4 children adopted from foster care. He graduated from UVA in 2013 with a degree in Studio Art and has been working as a live caricature artist, muralist, and commission-based artist since 2009. He has worked with young people in Charlottesville through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia, and through Charlottesville City Schools as an art teacher.
